Yes of course, because when you need somebody to save your child's life from a deadly disease, a new bridge or highway built, explore the universe the 'street smart' guy is who you wanna call.

I do agree that college is a waste of time for the majority, a bachelor of arts degree in medieval studies really isn't necessary to manage a Kinko's shop.

Hey let's just focus on our healthcare system no need to point out our school system is stupid too

When I tell people in Canada that my wife got her full degree with honours for free, they can't believe it. I did 2 years of my degree then dropped out, even tho I didn't finish it, I only had to pay a tiny amount, something like $2500 penalty if I recall correctly.

Let me guess, a US graduate is about 3 times more productive than a Scotish one? Go figure

God how awful was communism, free studies and student housing and canteens...

Thank God we choose the freedom to pay.
