Vegas for one night with gf.. pls advice..
 

Hey guys, im thinking of going to vegas from LA area on saturday morning and returning sunday evening.. Will be going with GF and her sister.. We are all young <30

I need tips on what to do/where to stay.. Basically, the money is not the issue..

They are both first time vegas visitors, so we are looking to have fun in a super nice hotel, and go clubbing on sat night.. Last time i went to Vegas they had clubs with 2hr long lines.. Would love to stay in a hotel that gives us easy access into a nice club (hip hop,pop music)

Also, pls suggest what to do during the day on saturday, and also sunday..

stay at the cosmopolitan and go to marquee

if it's just you and 2 girls and you don't have a table, try to get close to a bouncer that looks like he's handling the line and get his attention as if you need to tell him something... then offer him $100 to get you and your 2 friends past the line (have the $100 in your hand ready to hand over and show him) and you'll get right up to the front

you'll probably have to pay cover charges still however

it only doesn't work if you have tons of guys with you, they'll ask for more or you'll have to split your group up and come in at separate times

you can do that at any club in vegas btw

it would probably work with $50 as well :)

if you wana drink and club stay away from the strip. The strip is only fun when you turn 21. You hit up a club away from the strip you get a real feeling how crazy vegas really is.

Advice: stay away from Robbie and Claudia-Marie.
They will fuck the shit out of your girlfriend for hours and probably film it for their Blog. LOL

As about on what to do, I don't think there will be a problem to choose the show for a night (everything depends on your tastes).

Stay at the Cosmopolitan, make a dinner reservation at Picasso, call a host and get a table at Hyde out on the balcony :2 cents:

Cosmo rooms are great because they were supposed to be residences, but everything else that place does IMO doesn't measure up. Marquee is hella overrated.

I agree, there's so much going on there. a lot of the really fun stuff is off the strip too...

Like others have said, Cosmopolitan is a great place to stay. Especially a terrace room on the N side facing the Bellagio. STK is a fun place to get dinner before the club. Or you can always go with Wynn or Encore. Both properties have a ton of good places to eat and clubs (Marquee at Cosmo, XS at Wynn). If you go with bottle service just need a host, no lines. If you just want to skip the line, with 2 girls $50 would be enough. However you'll have to pay a cover also at the biggest clubs.

Brooklyn Bowl is a good place to go for live music in the heart of the strip. And nearby is the new Drai's. And of course the after party is always at the Rhino, followed up by a good breakfast at The Peppermill. Enjoy! :thumbsup

I was just going to say, she my be your GF going in but after 2 days in Vegas...

If you're driving here, I suggest you leave Sunday morning. Wait until Sunday afternoon and you'll be very sad sitting in 30mph traffic on the I-15 back to LA with the rest of the people that dont know better.

Never drive from LA to Vegas on Friday afternoon, and never drive from Vegas to LA on Sunday afternoon.
