Is it TRADITIONAL for babies to send other babies birthday cards?

I was told last night (in a very authoritative way lol) by someone, that if you are a couple expecting a baby, and you get to know other couples expecting babies at the same kinda time... That its traditional for your baby to send a card to the others on their birthdays as they grow up?

I have never heard of this! Have you?

never heard of it... but I'm from Balkans, our tradition is to get alcoholised on any possible occasion, including everyones' children birthdays... so... no cards, bottle of something...
