Who is the worst host you've ever had?

Who's the worst host and what made them the worst?

CyberHustler 07-30-2014 09:47 PM

Servage... them niggas just suck in every way possible. Yahoo hosting a close second. When I was a noob, I had to learn shit the hard way.

candyflip 07-31-2014 06:21 AM

I'm having issues with VPS.net at the moment, they suck worse than Virtualis if anyone remembers them.

aka123 07-31-2014 02:34 PM

I read this everytime as "Who is the worst you've ever had?" :)

About hosting, I don't really have bad experiences as I have always spent a day or two for the selection of right host. So far so good.

brassmonkey 07-31-2014 02:41 PM

webair.......

Bladewire 07-31-2014 02:46 PM

Damn some pretty old hosts there glad to see fellow old timers chiming in thanks!

So we're safe with most of the current adult hosts? Nationalnet, Secured Servers, Amerinoc?

Ferus 07-31-2014 02:55 PM

Nakedhosting: Their support could barely read/write English, and most answers was semi-automated. Shitload of downtime
Webair: There were no support

marc22 07-31-2014 02:56 PM

aplus.net there hosting was horrible and customer service was too, domain registering is good

sicone 07-31-2014 04:03 PM

Amerinoc followed closely by Webair

wehateporn 07-31-2014 05:27 PM

I don't want to say as they might be a lot better by now

mikesouth 07-31-2014 07:45 PM

Fuck I cant rememebr the name but it was back around 2004 I thin IIRC they were in new york and they just fucking disappeared one night...causing a lot of adult sites to go dark...including mine.

MrBottomTooth 07-31-2014 07:56 PM

Not my host thankfully, but I am trying to help someone I know out that is using netfirms. I'm used to amerinoc emailing you back in 10 minutes. So far with netfirms I have been waiting hours with not so much as an acknowledgement. What a joke. But he loves his $5 a month hosting.

I've talked to so many that have hosting problems, hosting down/slow, no timely support, emails not working, but when I talk to them about things that can be done to fix these problems, they are good until you tell them it'll cost more than the 5-10 bucks they are paying now. All I can say is good luck.

Markul 08-01-2014 07:52 AM

Dreamhost by far, closely followed by Webair.

Rob 08-01-2014 07:58 AM

Pablo during the Super Bowl. That motherfucker was the worst host ever! No snacks, no drinks, no food, and the kicker; the big TV was "broken" so we had to roll out his kid's 22" TV to watch the game. Not an easy task with 30 people all trying to crowd around a 22" TV. Yeah, he was a horrible host. Never go to any of his parties. Bitch doesn't even have WiFi in his house.

3xmedia 08-01-2014 08:09 AM

Shoplifter 08-01-2014 02:56 PM

Dreamhost hands down the worst.

redbusiness 08-01-2014 03:29 PM

Seo-host.com, but I think they closed already the company.

that's right "cheap", that's the word and with hidden clauses like a limitation of your number of hits per day... so next to useless

edgeprod 08-04-2014 08:18 PM

Sago. Cost me a very lucrative account with Amazon due to issue after issue.

Drake 08-04-2014 08:38 PM

Definitely Webair. They used to have a huge presence on this board but seem to have disappeared from it.

Like whoa! No way -- I don't believe you! :Oh crap

georgeyw 08-04-2014 11:20 PM

I think it was called aplus or something along those lines, horrible to deal with, worst customer support ever and then cancelled my account out of nowhere. No reasoning at all.

They then proceeded to charge my cc for the next 12 months. I had to cancel the card to stop it.

This would have been 10 years ago now I think.

martinsc 08-05-2014 01:00 AM

dream host :Oh crap :Oh crap
