Weight Loss/Workout Diet

I lift 3 times a week, do cardio about 5 times a week. I am 42, in good shape but have a hard time dropping weight. I am 5'11" and weigh about 205. I carry it well but want to drop about 20 lbs. to get cut. I also want the easiest no brainer diet I can have everyday.

So make me a diet.

Breakfast? Oatmeal, etc....
Lunch? Tuna, etc.....

A meal that take no time to make and that I can stomach for a month or more to really drop the weight.

I know there are some muscleheads here so bring on the diet plan.

My girlfrirend is on Atkins. She lost 8lbs her first week and she can eat just about anything she wants.

Anything that doesn't have carbs.

Try atkins. A lot of people I know, used Atkins and got excellent results. It's very easy to do and stick to it. Some people say it's dangerous. It is not, doctors are starting to realise that he maybe right.

I know someone who went to a doctor and he was diagnosed with high blood pressure, cholesterol and about 100 pounds to lose. Well, he lost all of it, is blood pressure is back to normal and his triglyceride level dropped more than 50%

Whis this diet you are never hungry. You can eat cheese, beef, chicken, pork, bacon.. etc..

Dr. Atkins for me, my own doctor recommended it, and I lost 21 in 21.

It works, it's not hard to do, and I'm not hungry. Just take a vitamin supplement and enjoy whatever you like as long as you avoid pasta, bread, sugar, and potatoes.

0 carb all protein diets are b.s. You might drop some weight but you do need carbs and fat in your diet. I want a high quality but easy to fix 5-6 meal a day diet. Come on weight lifter/athletes I know there are some here.

You wanted something easy.. Just do it for 2-3 weeks and lose it fast and then make sure you do not gain it back.

Zone diet. 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% good fats. Eat 3 meals and two snacks a day. Many major cities now have a Zone meal delivery service. They drop of your meals and snacks for the day before 6 am. No thinking about what you have to fix or have or don't have in the kitchen.

Might wanna look at a copy of the Atkins book. Atkins does NOT mean no carbs. Induction for 2 weeks is 20 grams a day, then gradually add five more grams per week until you begin to gain, then drop back five and stay there. I get fifty five grams a day and still lose weight. At 60, I don't gain nor do I lose, so that's where my body needs to stay to maintain weight.
