The New Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reports
So I came across this the other day, modified my GA code and uploaded it to one of my sites. What have your results been in the average age of your surfers, their sex and afinity categories?
The site I activated the reports for is a "Gay for Pay" porn site. So far the results are 71 % men, 18-24 and below is their affinity report. It's only been a few days. What have your results been for any kind of site you run? http://imgur.com/egXIolT.png http://straightbro.com/Naked-Straigh...T-ANIMATED.gif http://straightbro.com/Naked-Straigh...ER-503X137.jpg |
These are the results in the "Other" category of their report

Just enabled it, guess I'll know tomorrow.

So anyone here using Analytics Demographics and Interest Reports?
Here's a bit more of the data it's provided so far. Evidently Google will limit the amount of data it gives you about your surfers that YOU allow it to gather. Bad google :anon http://imgur.com/FK3y8uU.png |
I think you are probably the most advanced GA user on GFY, so you are most likely the first to use that. Looks interesting, although odd that it leaves adult out. I think some adult membership sites sell to people who browse tubes and blocs and TGPs and some sell to people where that is the only adult site they look at.

Sort of a side-question: when you're logged in to Google Anal, looking at keywords that drew people to your site, can you see them if they're logged in users, or are they encrypted?
Also, can you see the Yahoo search terms? :D |
