Palestinians say strikes hit Gaza hospital, park
 

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) ? The Gaza police operations room and a Palestinian health official say separate Israeli airstrikes hit the compound of Gaza City's main hospital and a nearby park, causing casualties.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment.

Camera crews were prevented from filming the area of impact at Shifa Hospital. Health official Ayman Sahabani says several people were wounded in the strikes.

This is horrible really... But you are also having a war in one of the most densely populated areas in the world. This is tragic, but it's going to happen.

Stop launching missiles blindly into other countries and it will stop.

Why for some people this is hard to understand baffles me.

I think a lot of people who live in Gaza are just as annoyed with Hamas as Israel is. If they could make them stop shooting rockets, they probably would.

I get it - Israel is fucking them and fucking them hard. Israel is taking their land and doing whatever they want and no one seems to want to do anything about it.

This is very simple. A few years back my neighbor decided to expand his driveway, removed the bushes and trees between the houses including stuff on my property, and expanded his driveway just over the property line. That's a legal infraction that needs to be taken up in court. However, if I start shooing out his windows... That's a criminal act. When countries do this, it's an act of war.

The only solution here is for them to stop building missiles and launching them. After a period of time when this stops, the gates will open up.

Until then... They are fucked.

What would you do if you were Israel?

Get this straight, Hamas and the rest of the Arab world want Palestinian deaths, there is glory in dying in the name of Allah. You don't set up operational centers and house weapons in hospitals and under commercial and residential districts on purpose if you care two shits about your own citizens.
