One World Order
Why are we against this? At some point we should outlaw war and just get along as citizens of earth right? Seems to me the EU is on the right track. Maybe do a name change and open it up a bit. What is the USA joined the EU?
I see people point to this as a conspiracy theory but I see it as evolution. |

A single controlled environment would end up like a whole world version of North Korea.

BTW the conspiracy theory is the New World Order.

EU sucks, not a success
too many differences & too many laws and rules, for NL democracy is completely out the window now. When EU wants to impose a law, it does. Ignores what the people want. The Euro is a disaster. We had a strong independent coin, Euro fucked it up. Own identity goes to shit. To please EU the government slowly closing down red light districts, weed will be next. Freedoms seem to be slowly going away. Imagine what a world order would cause if these are already the effects of the EU. Laws would be 1000 times more than now, so the equasion with one giant north korea is spot on. Also the differences are so big in the world (econmoic, cultural & laws), it's a pipe dream... some positive & peace minded people would think it would be utopia, but that's very naive. Reality has shown that a giant world police state would be the result instead. |

EU can outlaw war all they want. The fact is the EU will see civil war within the next 50 years with the continued influx of people who don't agree with the European way of life. Probably the same thing for the US. |
Jehovah Witnesses sure seem interested in this lately. I just recieved a pamphlet in the mailbox last week that says they're having a huge gathering soon to discuss that very thing, the possibility of a one-world government.
Are the go-devils up to something? |
Why isn't there a single world government? Hmmmmm.
Well the UN has been trying to help govern the world for decades and it does not work. Free will, Individualism, Regional and Cultural Differences, Trust, Greed, Envy are just a few reasons it will not happen in at least our lifetimes. |
Open the gates of every country, make same laws everywhere, enjoy

There already is one world order: http://www.theguardian.com/commentis...market-freedom

A world government where every country was treated the same (equally) would never work. Stop being so naive and thinking it's in the "works" - it's not and never has been. They want to centralize banking, weapons, money, and control, but they sure as hell don't want one political party running the show. Shit would break down so fast you'd miss it if it blinked.

If there would be just one government/ country, I think that more popular places like current US could get a bit too much attention. Mexicans, Indians (the real ones), Chinese, Africans, etc. could want to have their bit from the land of freedom. Although Soviet Union had this solved by placing travel restrictions and ordered where people has to live. Maybe we could pull this together by learning to do it "by Soviet style". :)

I doubt this will ever happen. Here in the US we just don't care - I don't care if my barber is Jewish or Muslim or is black - but the rest of the world does't feel that way. That's sad really.
At the same time, I see our cultures merging. I remember a day in the US when everyone was either white or black. Now it seems like we have more Hispanic than anything else, with lots of everything mixed in - Muslims and people from India, Asians.... We didn't have this when I was younger. |
