Causing GIMP To Keep Crashing
 

Ever since the update its causing my GIMP to crash out of the blue. Anyone have any ideas whats causing this. Thanks

when a page loads it says done instead of the url. the assholes also took out the url in the bottom left on mouseover :disgust :( im using status 4 evar

downloaded and its active still i see high memory usage just not the firefox, idk who uses it.

Flash player, plugin container, and java(if enabled) will all consume memory when the FF browser is open.

Windows? Check the task manager under processes, you can order it by cpu or memory usage to determine the hog.

restarted ff and its working smoothly keeping ff memory usage under .

Since i switched to linux firefox works perfectly (except occasional flash crashes which is caused by flash,not firefox)

im never switching from firefox too many addons i need

Yeah those assholes at Adobe quit updating flash on linux besides a special version for Chrome. Eventually Linux will have to use pepper flash or drop flash. But rumor is that starting with Firefox 33 Youtube will begin forcing HTML5 when viewed with Firefox. No more flash on Youtube.

I actually though how that happened already but it didn't.Youtube works weird,sometime it throws html5 only player,sometime flashplayer only.

I think shortly after this Flash will become far less popular (for video anyway) as people all start switching over.

its does not works as described , it just delayes firefox ram usage , and after 1+ day i got BSOD.

I had just managed to get everyone I know over to FF when I moved over to Chrome...

I forgot to mention I reboot every day to clear RAM and cache. I do it because of other programs that are memory hogs and other memory leaks like Office also.

Install any GNU/Linux distro with Firefox and Open Office or Libre Office... Problem solved.... :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

If i see it good,linux firefox memory usage stuck on 450 MB,unlike windows version which goes relatively fast over 1 gb.

people still reboot ? , idk about people but i dont reboot unless os forces me to after an update or get BSOD.

Same without the BSOD part + I hibernate when not in use, so I can quickly get back to where I was, if I have to.

Not on linux,it actually start faster then chrome there.

Firefox does everything I want it to do with no problems. I wont be changing anytime soon.
