MyExpatUSA - it's US$4.95 and well worth it, IMO. I use it everyday from Malaysia to access Amazon for video streaming, et al.

It's for tech/trouble shooting issues. proXPN is based off shore, and that's more important than anything else.

off shore in this case means out of US or out of USA/EU/etc so on a tiny island somewhere in the middle of nowhere? :)

Sure, if you mean tiny island of the Netherlands.

You'll have to do your own research, I only use proXPN.

CyberGhost. They've got an iOS app and OSX app which makes connection from either of those platforms EASIER than any others I have tried.
