...it poured down rain last night...so I decided to come in. I don't care for the rain and mud. It is just as well as I have a few things to take care of before I go in for surgery.

So you came back from the wild. Very unusual story, thanks for sharing.

Hopefully you get something positive out of the surgery, whatever it is. At this point I would actually welcome if an orthotic surgeon said he (or she) had a procedure that would benefit me. I'd take them up on it in a heartbeat.

But for now it's still the facet block infiltration train for me. My next course of injections is next week.

I am having six stints put into me. Two in my abdomen and two each in each leg because of very poor circulation to my lower extremities. My feet are basically dieing. The surgeon told me it should have been done ten years ago...but no doctor ordered an ultra sound during that ten year period...even though I had told them my feet were turning purple and my legs were giving me difficulty.

So at the least...if all goes well...I will keep my feet and legs attached to me for a few more years.

Does this have anything to do with diabetes? Good luck with the procedure in any case, I'm familiar with it. If all goes 100% it will make a huge difference in your life and how you feel.

The surgeon said it is hardening of the arteries caused by smoking for too many years. I have smoked since I was fifteen with a few intervals of not smoking for two or more years...ie I have not smoked for more than three years this time.
