I have mine done about once every month and a half or so... (Just got back - Hence this thread)

His advertised cost is £11.50 (approx $19.96)

How much do you pay?

10 bucks for the whole thing...no tip required here.

Yeah, but anyone can shave their head - I'm talking about a style that takes a certain skill to create :thumbsup

In averaging out the cost of haircuts in this thread so far I calculate I've saved roughly 4-5,000 bucks over the past 20 years by doing my own.

Helps that I'm a god with the scissors and clippers.

I do my own, and I've become pretty good at it. Faded in back and everything.

I have a cutie at Sport Clips that cuts mine every 4 weeks or so. $23 for the hair cut, shampoo, and head / neck massage + $7 tip.

Too much, converted to dollars about 35 USD.

I go to an old fashioned hole in the wall. They Charge $30 for a cut and a shave (includes a wash a very careful cut and a REAL shave....moisturizing cream, hot towel, Shaving cream, hot towel, Hot cream, Shave, wash, cold towel, aftershave, light talc)

I give them $60. Its a lot to tip, but its not just that to get what they offer (or an ATTEMPT at what they offer) at a new high end Place in LA would run you $100 easy...its more about supporting a small business that I don't want to see disappear.

I bought a Wahl clipper in 1987 for $19 bucks, and have been cutting my own hair off with it ever since. Have not paid for a haircut for 27 years.

recently I paid 3 usd (it was in Europe, believe it or not), but usually it is around 5-6 USD per simple haircut.

I apply duct tape to my head then give it a good yank.

Local salon, $20. Here it's considered somehow expensive but she does a great job (and it probably takes 2 hours) :)

in munich/germany 8 euro + tip = 10 euro in turkish-salon - all 4 week, thats it!
