We have a list of over a thousand sites just like that one and over 40,000 sites linking to pirated content.

It's probably best not to post the links here, it just gives them a free backlink.

There are many pirate sites on the net and it is a big deal.

However providing a live link on GFY (or any other site with lots of traffic) to the offending site is counterproductive and just providing more traffic to the offending site.

So I have to ask, was it your intention to get a live click-able link to that site on GFY?

I just posted that link, hope someone will do something about that.
Since 2008 is whole adult business down 90% because the tube sites
that gives away free videos, and on top of that there is now the Rip
Sites!

I hope you understand that while I was harsh about your post it had nothing to do with your message.

We have had discussions about posting links to these sites here before. Posting links to them here just hurts Rights Holders more, by increasing traffic. I am not telling you not to post about these sites just do not post live links to them.

I figured it was a thought on your end also. I still wonder when someone posts a live link to a pirate site if it is just a thoughtless act or there is actual intent.

In General,

With the shear number of sites like this online IP enforcement and mitigation takes a considerable amount of time. We do our best to serve our clients best interests and if it helps others in the process it is a bonus. While we all can not be our brothers keepers it does the community in general a great service when we action a site.

The current laws protecting IP owners and rights holders does very little to protect anything. If you are a rights holder or IP owner let your elected officials know you are not satisfied with the current protections the laws afford you. Let them know that companies profiting from piracy know how to use the current take down systems and Safe Harbor protections to their advantage while continuing to infringe on the rights holders and IP owners works.

We continue to develop new methodology and action plans to curtail the actions of individuals and groups infringing upon others works. We believe the individuals behind infringing sites should be targeted until they cease pirate operations.

Only 20k traffic daily and not much from Search Engine, their files are hosted elsewhere, I dont think its really a threat in the future SEO, but it should be taken down cuz its just humiliating ripping almost all the paysites contents out there and noone doing anything about it.
