Content In Exchange For Site Deisgn ?
 

OK I was chatting to one designer about the idea of them doing some site design work for us, in exchange for some content... I like contra deals :thumbsup

However they wanted resell rights (never going to happen) :disgust

Well yes I guess times are tough for a lot of people... it certainly isn't 1999 any more... we do ok, get buy ect ect... still haven't had to go and work at McDonalds to subsidise the drop in earnings...

However I don't see any harm in doing a contra deal... services for services... but if you find it funny then I guess your either a balla or just bored :Oh crap

I dont see any problem,i can trade any of my work for content as well(hosting,programming,hardlinks,traffic,sysadmi nistration)

I see nothing wrong with bartering. Great idea. I've done it in the past, works quite well.

Nothing wrong with bartering. We do it all the time, both small customers and enterprise.

In brick in mortar bussiness is actually more often then money traffic lol.When i remember seeing tons of papers with titles like "compensation" and "multiple compensation" in one transportation company it made me wonder do they made any money lol.

Now as I mentioned in my first post, the original designer I was talking to wanted "resell" rights, now I agree any "content" guy who agreed to that would be borderline desperate...

I day fair play to you Steve. If I had any capacity, I'd happily take you up on this. Just got too many plates spinning right now.
