Use Instagram?

Since Instagram is becoming a traffic source, how many of you use it?

Do you have multiple accounts or just one?

What about your adult industry instagram? I assume that would be the topic on gfy.

Well, that is why I asked if anyone is using it and if so, do they have multiple accounts? Personally, I am not sure that I have the content to do multiple instagrams ... maybe I will try at the next show I cover.

Today is my one month anniversary of even using it; trying to get the tricks down

Nudity/adult isn't allowed on Instagram so I doubt it's worth time for porn promotion. There's a popular cam girl who keeps getting her Instagram account closed even though she doesn't post nude photos.

I have only briefly looked at it. I know it's very popular with females. Is it a photo album, more or less? Or am I thinking of Pinterest?

You seem to be describing Pinterest as far as being popular with females, but Instagram is basically the same thing without being able to organize into categories

Well, I am very new to this Instagram thing (a month) . . . are you taking pics of pics with the phone or do you have a way to upload via FTP or something else I have not figured out yet?

AaronM 07-16-2014 07:51 AM

Until recently I've avoided Instagram. The only people I saw using it were kids or drunk fucks posting from bars.

Lately, I've noticed more mainstream companies using it so I just set up an account last month. I'm trying it out on a new project. We'll see how it goes.

You don't need to take separate photos for Instagram (provided that your existing photos can be edited in a way to meet the 'aesthetic preferences' of IG users).

Use the photos you took with your regular camera by downloading it to your device's camera roll then importing it into Instagram (bottom left corner), crop, add filters, hashtags, etc. and you're good to go.

ps. for a more hands off approach, just google "automate instagram", read up on it and dive in. :winkwink:

does anyone have a reliable
IG auto posting software or even method to post from web?

IG is huge. Celebs and brands are way more active there than anywhere else.
You also reach 100% of your followers unlike FB

^^ Excellent advise

I started up with IG about a year ago and integrated it with my other social media. The ROI just wasn't there for me. Some IG statistics & demogratphic info here and here. Best of luck :thumbsup
