Getting hot chicks to let you photograph them
 

So I want to try my hand at photographing a few hot chicks.

I have tried a couple ads on craigslist and some on backpage. I have not had any luck what-so-ever.

Here are my challenges.

1. I don't have a studio
2. I don't have experience working with naked women
3. I have no idea what a reasonable price to pay is

How do YOU get girls to get naked for you? How do you find a bedroom to shoot them in? Or hell even reply to your email or ad. What are some places to advertise?

I don't have a ton of money to put out for hotel, plus girl, just to do one shoot...so I'm disabled! Ack.

I signed up for MM and OMP but under my mainstream name - they want you to upload samples, and all of mine are "family" photography shoots. Not wanting to mix the two.

You could take a few selfies of your peen for the sample pics you need. But if you go the newspaper ad route, make sure to remind the models that you don't intend to murder them.

In my personal experience... is not something that happens from one day to other.

If you don't have a studio, you need to at least have a nice place to do the shots.

If you don't have experience working with naked women's... the first thing you need to learn its how to work with dressed models, then with lingerie models and finally will have a good background to work with naked models.

If you don't know what is a good price to pay to the models you need to know your costs, how much you want to earn, how much you want to invest and how much time are you able to wait to make some ROI

Is not an easy business and is not so cool how all people think. Make 50 shots to a model is not so easy, take time, patience, work.

It's a good business, yes... just if you have everything to get into this business

And that is not everything, you still have to know how and where to sell, how to deliver the content, how to get payed, lots of things

After 10 years in this business i started on that, and after knowing a lot of this business i still have to learn every day



So, IMO ... do that just if you are able to handle with a lot of things that you don't have in mind right now

Well....this wouldn't be to sell content. It would be for my own personal websites - in exactly the style I want, rather than purchasing content of popular porn stars that are sold a million times over. =)

Life lesson: give to get.

Most anyone with knowledge will tell you almost anything that you want to know. People like sharing their knowledge. What they don't like is sharing it with people that feel they deserve the knowledge. Be gracious, be kind, ask specific questions, and show that you are actually trying to learn.

I'm nobody's CyberGuard, I'm stating what everyone else was thinking. You can take it however you like.

Not having a studio will make it tough for you.... but regardless of where you shoot, just be honest with your models. Let them know you are brand new and still experimenting. Making your models feel relaxed will make your photos ALOT better. If you give her the creeps, she will be stiff and the shots will be boring. Showing your models the photos and asking them for feedback will help put them at ease because they are contributing to the final product.

Let them know its ok to bring a GIRLFRIEND to the shoot. Do NOT let them bring their idiot jealous boyfriends because it will ruin the shoot. It's important to establish a connection & trust between you and your model without her BF fucking it all up and telling her (and you) what to do. A girlfriend is much more likely to be supportive while still watching out for her. And you have the added benefit of scoring a shoot with the girlfriend too if she's into the idea and trusts you.

Do NOT hit on the model. Do NOT make stupid jokes.

DO be complete honest (first time, not sure what you want, etc).

The best is find an agent. Google model agents in your town. The agents will tell you prices and ca help you more. Also you can advertise in the classifieds and online.

If they are new, they will be shy to undress in front of a stranger... with a camera... for photos on the Interwebz.... you don't want to push them into it obviously but making them feel comfortable is one of the requirements for sure.

But yes I know what you mean - you too will feel nervous. When I first started I used to sweat buckets because I was so scared they wouldn't see me as a professional. The sweating of course only made me sweat more...

There was some good advice in this thread and one other thing I would be honest with the model ESP if you are doing a solo girl site. Before I shoot a girl for a solo site I tell them straight up that your parents, family, and friends will find out about your pornsite even if you block your home state. And if they don't find out about it then your website is not a very good one and will never make any money. I tell them if they would want the site offline if their family got mad that we should part ways right now. Most girls are shocked that I'm that upfront with them and it gets me on their good side from the start.
