Would you promote mainstream to adult audience?
 

Hey everyone,

I just have a question. I was thinking about doing something mainstream, seeing what it's like. I was thinking of doing something video game related, maybe youtube stuff.. Maybe make some cheap ass cartoons, who knows.

But do you think it would be a good idea, or a bad idea to promote it to the porn traffic I get now & see if any are also interested.. the content wouldn't really be related in any way whatsoever.. so there could be some sort of chaos.

Anyone ever tried this before? Good idea or bad idea?

I can only speak for myself, but I was never able to sell anything with porn except more porn.

mainstream affiliate networks will ban you for sending adult traffic. it's a violation of Terms for nearly all of them. consider building a mainstream site and getting some traffic rolling and then monetize it once you have some traction.

Yes, because adult traffic can be had for so cheap. Needs to be filtered up though, for reasons stated above me.
