      May be a good thing - some tend to use sports events as cover for activity that otherwise would make all the news - i.e. Israel now.
      If the event is in Russia, they won't be able to pull something like that off.

              Yes but that can only postpone ,as they invaded Crimea right after winter Olympic games finished.

                      They accept the refugees. If some Ukrainian lucky maybe even get a shitty job as well: to build a stadium or something.

                      Only one host city, Rostov-on-Don is close to the Ukrainian border. I think the Russians are able to fix the border and they don't allow ukrainian far-right terrorists into the country. If the Ukrainian army do something stupid, the Russian army can easily destroy them.

                      I think the World Cup will be safe.

                      Anyway if Ukrainians are killing each other at this pace no-one will remember them years from now.
