    Republican Mayor gets 10 years for corruption

    C. Ray Nagin, the former mayor of New Orleans, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Wednesday on federal corruption charges, ending a case that began with the rebuilding of the city after Hurricane Katrina.

                                              If you like, go ahead. As already mentioned, the Democrat list is longer, which is honestly surprising to me.

                                              Both parties are full of crooks. A few to seem to believe Republicans are destroying the world while completely ignoring that the common denominator is crooked politicians, not being a Republican.

                                              Our resident Republican attacker, Mark, had just bumped an old thread attacking Republicans yet ignored this thread and another thread exposing the crimes of Mr. Nagin. This guy grossly abused his power when the city that he was responsible for was suffering from a crisis that most cities will never realize. Representatives of any party should be talking down on this sort of behavior.

                                              When I lived in San Diego there was a San Diego area Republican Congressman that was abusing his authority.                                                       He'll be staying in the same minimal security facility as William Jefferson, the democrat who had 90,000 dollars hidden in his freezer. Among others.
