I understand the point that "there is only the winner". I am just saying why those people advocate only about removing football bronze medals. Why not eliminate all tema sports bronze medal games then? If they said that they agree on bronze medals being gone overall then I would understand their point. But somehow all those voices have no problems with bronze medals in general, except for football.

No, bronze medal is WINNING and in a competition like WC it is winning HUGE. Many teams DREAM about medals.
My point was that it is natural not to remember bronze games if your team did not participate there.

Well i also remember how my country didn't qualify then,while two neighborhood countries did but not this time.And i remember there was a heavy fight inside France team.

Not even close to a sore loser, one of the best tacticians in the game, respected worldwide. Third place playoff game isn't needed in my opinion, no one cares who wins that game, it's about the next day, the next game. The players have busted their ass, they want to go home and be with their families, let them. This game is always shit because neither team really cares.

Yes the "little final" for 3rd place is stupid game with no sense...
