Their crying is not near as annoying as yours. I don't like or agree with either of their opinions on most things, but at least they post a few words along with their hate.

You are the one who is calling people out for posting instead of working as you continue to post and make new threads. I was simply declining your offer to take 26 minutes out of my day That is me using my high powered intellect. |

I'm still waiting for Obama's henchmen to come knock on my door to confiscate my weapons. According to the right wing nutwankers, it should've happened already. It should've happened under Clinton, too. Or it could be well funded hysteria intended to get their base motivated. Who knows, though. :winkwink: |
I don't think there has been this much polarization in U.S politics in a long long while. As previous people have posted.. neither is a decent party. They are just 2 halves of the same worthless coin.

Liberal guilter arock10 cries more than those 2 combined. Thankfully at least he does not post so many "damn republicans" threads :)

Me, I just find all of this funny.... You have one side saying "Obama is a dictator abusing executive power" while the other side is saying "Holy shit did you not see what Bush did while he was destroying our economy". |

But for the record, I start work early, end late. GFY is a great distraction from my long day in that discussing business, politics and science here is entertaining, informative, and challenging. Differences of opinion are wide which often leads to discourse, but it never transfers into real life. |

Fear and bullshit is a classic political strategy to get the voters motivated and involved. Sometimes it's used for good motives, because voters are idiots in general, sometimes bad, and other times just plain out weird, made up issues. Birthers, 9/11 truthers, gun control nuts... they fall into that last part and they're pretty much intellectual midgets.
I have 4 registered guns in my home. I'm still waiting for the scary liberals to come take them from me. Orrrrrrrrrr.......... are right wingers just scared little girls falling for a pretty basic, but tried and true political strategy used for millenia? |

out of all the movie theaters within 20 minutes of his apartment showing the new Batman movie that night, it was the only one where guns were banned. In Colorado, individuals with permits can carry concealed handgun in most malls, stores, movie theaters, and restaurants. But private businesses can determine whether permit holders can carry guns on their private property. Most movie theaters allow permit holders carrying guns. But the Cinemark movie theater was the only one with a sign posted at the theater?s entrance. A simple web search and some telephone calls reveal how easily one can find out how Cinemark compared to other movie theaters. According to mapquest.com and movies.com, there were seven movie theaters showing "The Dark Knight Rises" on July 20th within 20 minutes of the killer?s apartment at 1690 Paris St, Aurora, Colorado. At 4 miles and an 8-minute car ride, the Cinemark?s Century Theater wasn't the closest. Another theater was only 1.2 miles (3 minutes) away. There was also a theater just slightly further away, 10 minutes. It is the "home of Colorado's largest auditorium," according to their movie hotline greeting message. The potentially huge audience ought to have been attractive to someone trying to kill as many people as possible. Four other theaters were 18 minutes, two at 19 minutes, and 20 minutes away. But all of those theaters allowed permitted concealed handguns. |

Care to explain how that's a gun control issue?
Sounds like a made up "issue" to me. Here's gun control in a nutshell: Side 1: there shouldn't be any regulations. Side 2: there should be limited regulations, such as a limited background check, and some limits on types of firearms owned(automatic weapons, like the M60, for example) Side 3: there should be regulations such as a background check checking for mental health issues and previous violent crime offenses Side 4: there should be regulations such as no 30rd magazines, no "assault" rifles, etc. Side 5: there shouldn't be any guns in the hands of the citizenry unless military or law enforcement. The rest is just bullshit. Like there being movie theaters that allow CCW holders close to where the perpetrator of a crime lived, but the criminal oh so shockingly chose the place where he could commit his pre-meditated crime more easily. I don't give a shit about that. That's obvious. Maybe the business will change their practices - maybe they won't. I don't care at the end of the day. I care that a raging lunatic was able to acquire a firearm. |

I'm anti-bullshit, though. |
I also don't think the issue is that he was able to get a gun.
It's that he was a raging lunatic. |
No way to prevent people from dying in car wrecks, why bother with safety equipment and seatbelts

I am opposed to FORCING people to wear seat belts or any other forced shit. You can't turn the whole world into Nerf material. The world is a dangerous place. You might get hurt while you're here. Or, you can cower in your bedroom and live in fear of everything. Your choice. |

(and actually this is the only source of politics in my life... nowhere else in my life am I exposed to these weird mental jumping jacks and convoluted logic, except GFY) and truthfully I do see you guys spreading straight out lies as facts with out any proof... but that's your integrity issue, not mine, you're a man supposedly... you want to be a low quality man... that's totally on you... but seriously there are major social issue that need resolution however trying to make 'feel good statements' a reality is a completely unrealistic endeavor... and everyone knows that... well except you guys it would seem... now about the mental illness: I would say the arrogance and self deception involved in thinking ONLY YOU and people that AGREE WITH YOU have any value to society is DEFFINITLY a mental illness... maybe you guys can all hook up, pass some laws and build some reeducation camps? just think how happy that would make you.... maybe even pass some eugenics laws while your at it... stop conservatism at it's very core FYI , just so you know.... you aren't going to change human nature with a new law or new regulation or by spreading lies about people and situations. the world has been there done that: fail :2 cents: |

I don't really care about politics anymore than trolling you guys that obviously have your panties pulled too far up your butt crack. I do however care about what happens in the world around me and although I'm not some flag waving nazi, I do also care about the future of my country. I dislike very much people whom attempt to dumb down and mistreat people. It just so happens that the extreme right wings seems to have that as their top priority. So when I see you or Vendzilla or one of the many others spreading absolute ignorance I troll you, because you deserve it. |

I think Americans should have the right to own poison gas. As long as they are sane. After all poison gas doesn't kill people only the person who opens the valve.
