This sounds like pandering to failures plus a bit of the "dumb jock" stereotype.

Anyone who thinks muscles = dumb is weak in the heart and other muscles.

It's a gym for losers who will never reach their goals.

But the great part is that people who like this place will stay out of the other gyms so people can work out.
