I heard the rumor through a tweet by Gilmour's girlfriend. Taken from the 1994 sessions?

A new album would be great. A new tour would be awesome.

I would love to see them again. Hasn't been since the 70's.

it was in the papers yesterday, I cannot remember the details now but I think only two band members are participating although it will be released under the Pink Floyd name.

no waters. gilmore has the rights to the pink floyd name so thats why its called pink floyd. i assume all other members besides waters are involved though.

Without Waters it's not really a real Pink Floyd album.

Waters has appeared live a few times with them over the past 20 years. Would be great if he can shake hands with Gilmour and get on with it. May be one of their last, if not last chances before the alzheimers album is released.

I wish AC/DC guitarist and make it back to the studio as well. I tried listening to clips from this year's Glastonbury. Load of crap. Please someone post something that was good.

A really NEW album would be great, this one looks like a rarities record or smthg like that.

And picking up the clippings and throwing all the stuff together that was at one point considered NOT good enough for an albums "Final Cut" is not a NEW album. :winkwink:

I wish they had been able to mend the fence with original member Syd Barrett but I think it's too late. That would be an amazing record with Waters in as well.
