Soccer has two halfs, Holland changed tactics (Plan B + Plan C) and Mexico didn't know where to run anymore and where overclassed. But Mexico played well. It looked like Costa Rica was aiming at the shoot out to win, cause they forget to attack and defended for 90 + 30 minutes.
