Bitcoin profiting

I was just wondering if anyone here has actually managed to make great profit from Bitcoins.

I have an account on over at cex.io and I have been doing okay, difficulty just keeps rising and I'm not seeing much profit in Cloud Mining.

Anyone find a better way to profit from it? apart from buying a miner?

AllAboutCams 07-03-2014 11:08 AM

Buying mining at the moment is a bad idea you will probably never make your money back.

Ive done good on buying alt coins before but very risky

Doge and Reddcoin is what im backing at the moment

I have never gone out of my way into non mainstream crypto currency, if you could tell me how the exchange rates are for those coins it would be awesome.

https://www.mintpal.com/ is a great place to start loads of coins on there just be very careful what coins you buy.

I've allegedly cleared over $1M in btc profits thus far from deals and brokering deals and getting guys to cash out correctly etc.

Very interesting dynamic industry. The VC's are still dumbasses. But every industry needs lots of those to profit big time. Amirite?

I only just got into it though.. was not planning on it at all. But holy fuck, talk about rapefest. Reminds me a lot like how the adult days on here were in the 90's. Everyone running around, sharing ideas and technology and inventing new ways to possibly save the world and introduce the world (in our case to pr0n back then) to this and that... and meanwhile, the pros and really clever and ruthless hustler folk were raping and pillaging everything while they still could during the limited window of awesomeness for all.. That's where I am right now.

Expect regulations in or around the next election. They always come in and ruin it for everyone.

We might have sold over 1K when the price hit 500 and again when it was 1070 and again when it was 800 something and lots of smaller trans.
So there is no money in BC

As the colleague told, the fact someone made profit from bitcoin in the past, does not mean the same guy can do the same profit today using same method. Especially mining it became a war of the asic datacenters, and also, more likely refocused on doge and other coins. Take a look there: http://coinmarketcap.com/all.html

Yeah, the funniest part about my story is that I started out with faucet sites believe it or not. I went crazy going through 100 pages a day collecting btc and one day when I had about .0008 btc I invested in cloud mining. from there I just let it do its thing and up until today Ive made a profit of 3 btc in a 7 month span. I also mined quite a bit but it has become impossible now since everyone is buying miners.

there will always be money in BTC

From reading bitcoin threads it looks like everybody profited, nobody lost :)
Somebody lost, but nobody from GFY.

People who hold currencies which are constantly inflating (being created from thin air freely), they are the ones who will have "lost" in this situation.

I dont recall where I go this but its the best statement ever, IMHO.

Bitcoin price is rising. Do not purchase this coin, it may go higher and if you sell, you would make a profit. It is best to just watch the rest of us cash in. This has been a pubic service announcement.

You should be in #bitcoin-assets on irc.freenode.net; that is, if you are looking for ways to invest large sums of Bitcoin. Google for the webchat.
