Tube sites.. Is it still profitable?

Hi, I just signed up to become a member of GFY and I am glad that I did! :1orglaugh
I have a quick question for you guys.
Is running a tube site still profitable or is it too late to dive in? I think there are so many tube sites these days, You can even find PornHub from the movie called "Don Jon".
I don't think my fresh tube site isn't going to be shining after all.

What do you think? anyone to share?

Nice gif. I see what you mean. Every tube site looks same, promotes same video clips or copyrighted video clips uploaded illegally.

What is tube site's main revenue stream? Affiliates?
