...at 10:00 in the morning to go see a surgeon. It is about a four hour drive round trip and I do not know how long I will be with the Doctor. A real irritating day for me.

...and not a single fuck was given.

I got back from the Surgeon's office about an hour ago. Stopped by for a take out order of Chinese food. I had to have more tests done today and the bottom line is I have to have up to six stints put in. I am scheduled for surgery next month.

I have 6 stints myself in my legs. Pretty common and easy surgery these days. Outpatient surgery. By-pass is a little more difficult. I stayed in the hospital 4 days for that. Morphine was so good I didn?t want to leave :1orglaugh

Four of them are intended for my legs. The other two for somewhere in my abdomen and yes if all goes well I will be released to return home the same day. Surgery at 6:00 AM (which means I will have to get up around 3:00 AM as it is about a two hour drive) and released six to eight hours later...I was told.

Some time after the 4th I will go back to my wilderness place and come back in a couple of days before my surgery is scheduled. At least that is my current thinking but I reserve the right to change my mind...my legs do give me quite alot of trouble.
