Recommend me a new LED TV

I have a green line running down the screen on my 60 inch Sharp Aquos so I guess its time for a new TV

Anyone have the 80" Sharp? Which model?

I'd go with Samsung high end models. Nice price/performance combo.

Sounds like it is a fairly common problem with Sharp. Not so sure I'd be looking to replace it with another Sharp.

My current TV's are a Panasonic and an LG, but my next one will be a Samsung. They make the best TV's in my opinion.

Go for the Aquos again... They are amazing TVs with ACCURATE contrast and color (well, as accurate as it gets). Others like LG, RCA, Samsung etc use contrast setups that artificially enhances the display output.

I had one of the first gen LCD 42" by Sharp and it was perfect in color detail and speed of the firmware was great. Didn't wait long for menus or for the thing to power up.

The issue with yours is probably a random fuckup or pinch in the rubber conductor behind the sheet of plexi. If its just one green line, it might just be a loose cable too. Take it in for servicing?

had a tech come out today. Bad board. Not worth fixing. Waiting to see if Sharp will do anything for me as it is out of warranty
