It seems that you really can't win important matches without the help of the referee ...

Penalty kicks are easily the lamest thing in World Cup. I'd rather have 0-0 ties all day then something as arbitrary a pk

It wasn't even a real penalty , Robben did a good job at simulating things...

they didnt tho seen it happen in many sports.

I primarily played defense as a kid, so anything that takes 90% of the game mechanics out of the game to decide winning... Especially defense. Mostly takes the goalie out too as it's just guessing a direction to jump in

It wasn't the best time to give the penalty, but there was one before that was 100% a penalty, which referee didn't give.

and The Hunt did it with 100% accuracy, a perfect penalty kick. Nerves of steel. Compare that to brazil - chile penalties, those were mostly horrible

Both goals that were legitimately scored, the one for Mexico and the one by the Dutch, were both solid very well-scored goals. The fact that the game was settled by a referee's call is sad, yes, but them's the breaks that any team can sometimes benefit by. Hey, dont want to lose that way? Maybe it might be a good idea to not stick your leg out in front of a guy, just saying.

Faulting the Dutch for this is just plain stupid.

I think the penalty was correct... Mexican didn't play the ball but stepped on Robben's foot.... Perfectly legitimate penalty...

Robben made 2 horrible dives in the game and one got called. Clearly it worked for him.

I think they will beat Costa Rica but don't think they can make it to the final...

I agree .... so far the Belgium team din't play very well yet, but do not underestimate them, ... they have one of the best teams in this tournament.
