Since the beginning of time humans have adorned themselves with practical clothing for protection from the elements. Fashion evolved out of clothing ability to convey social status. It has also been used mostly to sexualize women showing off features (cleavage, ankles, and other various body parts) and to hide various body parts (cleavage, ankles etc).

It was then discovered that woman with more money than brains would spend insane amounts of money on variations of these garments. The consumer culture causes them to purchase 416 pair of shoes when only needing a few.

The length of shirts is changed each season to "force" the fashionable woman to purchase new unneeded clothing items in order to "fit in" at the workplace or be seen as unattractive.

Fashion is one of the biggest scams invented by man perhaps only rivaled by religion. :thumbsup
