The USA fans are singing and chanting

Why don't NFL fans do the same at games ??

You never hear any singing or anything during the games. Surely it would add to the atmosphere... :2 cents:

Took me about 10 seconds to find videos just for my favorite team.

Scott McD 06-26-2014 09:23 AM

All 3 vids when the teams are entering the field of play ? :1orglaugh

What about the next 3 hours ??

Sly 06-26-2014 09:25 AM

The world bitches that Americans like American football and not world football. Then Americans show interest in world football, and the world bitches that American football isn't enough like world football.

Really? LOL.

No bitching here. And i watch a lot of NFL.

Just always wondered why the fans never created the same atmosphere than even the USA soccer team creates.

Yes i do understand the play-offs are a much better however...

I don't often disagree with Scott much but yeah good point Sly. Scott STFU! I go to two or three Detroit Lions games per season and the atmosphere is amazing throughout the game, especially when the other team are on offence, the noise levels to try to distract them or make them do a false start is deafening.

Scott McD 06-26-2014 09:30 AM

Like i said, i watch a lot of NFL so i am aware of the noise levels...

The Eagle's fight song plays after every score, and the crowd always sings it. I didn't pay that much attention that all 3 videos were from the beginning of the game, I'm pretending to work here...

re: the difference. I think it boils down to a contact sport v a non-contact sport. I hear a lot of chanting at NFL games, kumbaya singing, not so much. violent sport and singing don't seem to go hand in hand while I can see singing during a sport like soccer seems more apropos.

Because the USA soccer fans are the same demographic as the people who anxiously await the next episode of "Glee" each week. #Showtunes
