How many ads on a tube site?

SO I was wondering, what do you think is the ideal number of ads on a tube site, let's say a video page.

I'm talking about banner ads

Any thoughts?

If you run a tube site, how many ads you have on a video page?

I would say no more then 3 300x250's, and you could take it a step further by hiding the player if the person has adblock enabled.

Only one, used for the program that is willingly/legally supplying the content for you to use.

konrad probably knows a thing or two about this...but use one for the sponsor, one for whatever, then throw whatever shit you want on the bottom of the site.

40 or 50. The more popups the better you waste of oxygen.

You know whats even better. Give out as much free shit as you can then sell that shitty traffic to brokers and then and only then complain why you aren't making any money or why your traffic broker pays you 15 cents per 1000 uniques.

Fuck you and fuck Exoclick.

Do you people really expect anybody with a paid site doing production, utilize your bullshit traffic? What kind of joins can we as a production company expect from circle jerking fucks and free tube traffic?

Answer that one. Then answer why you perpetuate it.

What do you different then anybody else with a hundred bucks and a scraper site selling shit traffic going to do for a sponsor?

i'm using adblock plus and i don't think it's a good idea to stop any content to be displayed, you might drive away many people that would click on your header tabs that are directly linked, let's say, to a white label cam/dating site

whenever i enter on a site that doesn't display content because i'm using adblock plus, i immediately get out because i presume that is full of bombarding ads which annoy me anyway.

nobody will disable their adblock plus because you have decided to stop content lol, nobody gives a fuck about that, immediately they will enter on another site which displays the content, regards if using adblock or not.

i mean look at the big sites, they are not blocking any content because some people are using adblock plus and actually, adblock plus doesn't completely block the ads from a site which doesn't abuse by displaying too many ads.

adblock plus is actually blocking intrusive ads like pop ups/ pop unders or sites which abuse by the quantity of ads

and, by the way, have i told you that if adblock plus will become increasingly popular, the tubes may actually start to sell content by not displaying full videos and relying on the revenue from advertisement?

The scales always even themselves out. Be ready for it muthafuckas.

You shitbirds giving up full scenes and playing malware/circle jerk games to sell traffic will die first.

FYI I paid for all the content, so producers made their $

Ramp 06-26-2014 12:57 AM

And looks like you don't know the difference between a tube site and a circle jerk site.

Right;) I also dont know why in the hell you would try and sell shit traffic. Why not start a paid tube? Why not start your own production company? Why not make your own content instead of playing chickenhawk to everyone that got fucked over by tubes and all the other shit birds in this biz?

Why not be an affiliate? I know why. Your traffic is shit like every other tubesite. If it was worth a fuck you would know where to send it and it would do better than your broker rates.

If you were smart you'd even send it to your own program, but you dont have one.

Shit mentality for sustainable business.

Ramp 06-26-2014 08:19 AM

Wow, seriously you have no idea what you're talking about. Well, you think you do.

You have no idea what I had/have or what I did/do.

Keep it up, lol

edit.

You should go and see a doctor, seriously.

There's a number of production guys that have realized the power of tubesites in today's market and willingly give them their content to make sales. Fuck it's not 2005 anymore.

Sure there's plenty of shit freesites out there but just as paysites there's good and bad, lumping them all together shows how little you know about the biz. let me know if you need me to paypal you $2 to buy a clue. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

SmutHammer 06-26-2014 12:06 PM

So we should all just be ok with everything and give away all of our hard work, Why wouldn't we? It's not 2005 anymore. Adapt or die!!! Lets all give everything away in return for almost nothing and finish killing off our industry.

Again, Fuck Tubes :2 cents:

I'll be happy to work with affiliates that do not have tube sites big or small :thumbsup

Depends on how your site works. We use responsive design to hide ad zones for certain resolutions, we focus on giving users the best experience possible and if we have to sacrifice some ad views at certain resolutions then so be it.
