Never underestimate the power of a good index...
 

So I created a script to pull XML feeds from cam sites and I was appalled at the time it took them to grab the feeds... Like 4 minutes.

Then it occurred to me that I didn't have an index on my DB which was checking to see if the girls already existed before adding them.

Bam...

Just like that 20 seconds to run. 15 of which is spent downloading their slow ass feeds.

index, index, index!

happens to me all the time.

then i wonder why the fuck so many records, fuck me.
so i truncate table , add index , and rerun.
