Autoplay videos on tubes?
 

Do you use this on your tube? Why?

No, make the surfer click on play for the popunder or to maybe browse other stuff on the page before the video starts. Plus less bandwidth to not have auto play. :winkwink:

Same reasons here. But why lots of tubes use it? That's what I am also interested in. :winkwink:

The theory is to 'suck in' the surfer/viewer. The human eye is attracted to movement. But I do not like it. I will hit my own damn play button thank you very much....tho the pop-unders do get annoying...

Go ahead and set all videos to auto play. The more tubes need to spend to distribute stolen content the better.

Well on my tube, I do not have autoplay and hitting the play button does not bring a pop window BUT clicking anything else, except the banners, does. Maybe that's best? And, Mark... I do not steal content... lol

It's not just porn. Mainstream sites like CNN use auto play, albeit with a commercial before the video.
