FIFA tells United States to get ready, 2022!
At this point it seems a given: http://www.buzzfeed.com/mrloganrhoad...ed-of-2022-wor

FIFA = worst corruption evaaaaaaaaaaa

Another thread for handegg fans to moan about "pussy sport" :)

It really should be Australia. They've not hosted it before.

And the same happened in Brazil again - new stadiums that no one will ever need again. |
USA makes more sense over Quatar. MaDalton makes a great point. Only the construction companies win from a such a big event in a country with no existing infrastructure.

It is false information. This is not true.

Instead of bidding to host it, countries should charge them a hefty fee.
|
Again in Usa? So after 2 usa in row, we will have mexico next... and so on
|
US Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati denied reports that FIFA contacted the United States on its availability to host the 2022 World Cup.

If I'm still living in North America, a World Cup in USA would be heaven for me. I would be getting tickets to as many games as possible. The only concern I have with a USA World Cup again is that the country is so spread out, the games would be all over the place.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nacional_Futebol_Clube Not sure where you get the idea that it will not be needed... It has similar capacity as the old city stadium. |

besides the owners of the construction companies and all the politicians and FIFA executives that profited from it, you are probably one of a very few though |

And rarely in the world new stadiums are "profitable" investments. Usually they are supported by local municipalities etc. Ps: in a shady country like Brasil - lots of that 3.6bil money were stolen, thats life. |

You said: stadiums will not be needed. I said: stadiums will be needed for the local football clubs. And events etc. Only one of these opinions can be true. City of 2 million people sure needs a stadium.. Especially in a football crazed country. Do you imagine European city of 2million people without a stadium? Why is Brasil cities not worthy? |

if we could vote I'd vote for Iran to host it.

Brazil was creating new cities just for this. New cities! Most first and even second world countries would already have the cities and stadiums in place. United States has more large stadiums than we know what to do with. |

I can talk from first hand experience as my country had handball world cup,for which was required to build tons of new arenas to make it possible.Do i love arena which was build in my city?I do,but problem it is barely utilized, but according to reports they said how it works, but somehow i doubt .There is a big chance how all those arenas only works because cities/country sipping large amount of money into it to make it still working. |
Milliona of dollara spend on those arenas.
People go hungry, other govornement projects left aside, corruption from kickbacks. |
