He's well intended, but just not very bright. So when you point out something he is doing that he has no counterpoint for, he has nothing he can do but put his fingers in his ears and skip around shouting I CAN'T HEAR YOU LA LA LA LA LA.

I think it's a coping mechanism.

When it comes to business, Robbie is actually very intelligent. Next conference you attend in the states where he is also at, I would recommend you track him down and spend an hour talking with him. I think it would change your mind.

With that being said, when it comes to the board banter, he does not seem to have a lot of patience for it.

I think he's deluded about a few topics, but he's always struck me as reasonably smart and one of the nicer guys on here.

Robbie may not be a book smart geek, but he is street smart and business smart, which is more than I can say for 95% of the people here.

Robbie and I have had it out here a few times, but he's one of the few who's pretty much spot on with regards to business...even still today.

haha. no he isn't. I've tried to talk biz with him multiple times here in Vegas. He's too busy parading CM around. The last time at a party during Internext I asked him if I could buy him a beer and discuss some traffic opportunities. He told me that we could go drink and look at some 'whores' as well. Umm ok. I got same impression as well. He's too busy watching over his wife than talking biz. And yes, he's old school - still wears same shirts he was wearing in 1980s, although they are two sizes too small.
