cPanel... Are you using it for stats?

So I have been looking at the stats in Webalizer in the cPanel and I don't fully understand them... My other options are Logiholic and AwStats through cPanel. What do you guys recomend for keeping track of my traffic?? And what exactly do I want to be looking for in these stats?

I look at them both, because they both paint a different picture of your traffic. I used Webalizer to help shut down someone brute attacking my site from the UK.

I use AWStats to get a better picture of where my traffic is coming from. etc.

They are telling me from the hosting company that I can only have one or the other enabled....

Oh! I use Hostgator....they have both. If I could choose just one, I'd use AWStats. I like the information they provide!

both can give you a lot of information, sometimes too much - you could use google analytics too.. I prefer that actually.

- Google Analytics
- Yandex Metrica

For those who dont know metrica. It is very powerfull it has mouse movement and heat map features. Thats why I'm using it. With those visual stats you can decide what to do adn why to do for your website future.
