The list is a little misleading. One of the jobs on their makes twice the federal minimum wage and I would imagine the pilot and professor both will find their salaries growing quickly as they get more experience. A model, like any entertainment business can be feast or famine and home healthcare workers have never been paid much.

Not to mention none of the jobs on the list are actually minimum wage. They are all at $10+ an hour so they say, "near minimum wage," which really means, "about 50% more than minimum wage."

Personally, I assumed pilots made more than that to start, but I would bet they don't stay at that wage very long.
