More science wishy washy for the righties to ignore..

Scientist (those no good evil communist supporters) in South Texas has proven link to contaminated ground water from fracking. Much worse is Texas state officials tried to cover up the contamination claiming the tested well which had levels of methane so high the water would burn, was perfectly good to drink. The Texas railroad commission claimed the water tested at only 8.2 milligrams per liter of methane, just under the federal government's unacceptable limit of 10.

The water was actually 83 milligrams per liter, which is highly toxic..the state also claimed the chemical make up of the gas was inconclusive to two fracking wells near by. Claiming they could not get a match, when testing the local fracking sites.

Meanwhile the independent tests, show almost an exact match.. "Yet an inspection of the test data shows the chemical signature - known as the isotopic analysis - of the Barnett Shale gas is 46.52. The chemical signature measurement of the gas in Lipsky?s well is 46.63, an almost identical match."

The evidence the independent scientists came up with make this case the most conclusive case in the nation for proof that fracking is contaminating ground water and will likely be a major lawsuit in the making against both the state for falsifying data and the oil company whom is doing the drilling..

Of course this is all wishy washy devils speak, for any good red blooded American right liven Obama hater..

Let's see which scumbag republican lawmakers try to shove this under the rug first.

crockett 06-08-2014 08:18 PM

It's totally not mans fault, I mean methane has been in the earth's crust for millions of years. It's all just random timing that it happened to start leaking into the water table after two Jesus Juice fracking sites started operation near by. Beside everyone knows a little flaming water never hurt no boys, it will put hair on your chest..

My guess would be whomever pays them the most money. And that would be for BOTH Republican and Democrat

Oh wait did I say millions of years.. Oh silly me, I mean 6000 years,, everyone knows the earth isn't millions of years old.. After all Jesus saves for heavens sake..

No, I'm sorry. You're "right".

The Republicans are the only ones who support the oil industry. And the Republicans are the only ones who would take money from them to create legislation.

Forgive me for infringing on your world of Good Dems VS Evil Republicans.
Pathetic.

Instead of blaming everything on either the Republicans or the Democrats, wouldn't it be better to vote for politicians that would actually deal with the problems?

Isn't it time for the people in USA to break the 2 party system, reduce the influence of lobbyists and stop congress from telling the government branches HOW to do their jobs?

While you are at it you might wanna consider paying higher taxes, loaning money to make the government work isn't a good idea in the long run. The US tax rate is way lower than the rest of the civilized world, solve the deficit with taxes instead of putting that burden on your children.

That would be nice but I don't see it happening for a while yet. Unless someone with Superman's fame decided to run.

Two parties one group of people ruling.

It is just a marketing ploy of false choice.

American politics and foreign policy is 99% the same whether it is Pepsi or Coke ruling.

This is a perfect example of a right wing state run by Republicans doing the stereo typical lax regulations and letting big oil/big business do anything they want. It's not democrats running the state of Texas it's republicans and the state is run like they wish the entire country was run. Things like this happening in Texas are like the canary in the coal mine showing us what to expect if strict regulations are not made mandatory across the the US.

Actually it is a right vs left thing because Texas is extremely lax on regulations, due to their heavy republican bias. They allow big business to do what ever they want and now the state is trying to cover for big oil when people's health is put at risk.

I can agree with that part. Just like Detroit and Chicago are the "canary in a coal mine" of what YOU want to do with the country.

Can't you just, for once...drop the politics?

There has to be a way to do "fracking" safely. We are sitting on top of vast energy reserves that can change the fortunes of our country and the people struggling in it.

We need to get that out and get this economy going. No need for poverty here if there are good paying jobs happening.

But I honestly don't KNOW that answers to if fracking is "safe", because every piece I read on it is either politically for it or against it.

Just look at the title you gave the thread.

You pretty much ensured that there could be no sane discussion by starting it off with hardcore politics right in the title.

That's the kind of shit we need to stop.
