That sushi looks so yummy.

My friend that created the GotBaddog roll opened his own place, then sold it and moved up north. He is reopening up in the Sacramento area in the next week or two; I will be up there shortly thereafter.

What part of Sacramento? That's where I was born and raised until I went into the Army. I would love to stop in and try it out. I LOVE good Sushi.

Well, the roll was named after my site - the Gotbaddog.com roll
The beer is named after me, as in, has my real name

As soon as I know I will be posting it as I know there are a lot of Sac people here that enjoy sushi . . . I think some of them have even had Song's creations

Yes, it is a brown ale with hazelnuts; the beer was only about three days old when I tried it Sunday and the hazelnut was very prominent. It will dissipate over the next couple of weeks.

The brewer just sent me this message, "Hey Lloyd, just a heads up im working on a series of Lloyds brown ales. Oatmeal imperial brown, bourbon barrel aged brown, and one with a citrus blend in the form of hops, wheat, and other adjuncts"

It is a crazy story that started as a joke between me and a rep of Drake's Brewing; this brewer heard the story and decided he wanted to run with it. The scary part is that he said he wanted to use my mug on the label when he gets to the bottling/canning phase. I told him I wasn't sure that was a great marketing idea. :1orglaugh

does the hazelnut just add a warmth or is it sweet? I like brown beer, but I don't like when it has sweet flavors added in.
