How much did those domains sell for during the sunrise period and how were the prices determined?

Great question Mutt- They have never been sold before. The prices were determined by the Registries that operate each new extension.

Have you applied for any gTLD's? What's the total cost if you know for one of them if you were successful in your bid? I saw there's an upfront $185,000 fee for making an application. They also require you have enough money to run a registry for 3 years - no idea what amount that would be.

We haven't applied for any. That fee is just the tip of the iceberg. In order to get your domains in Godaddy or other places- they have to pay. Multiple applicants for an extension- auction.. boom boom. The applicants tend to have deep pockets. I am having fun brokering them though. The 6-figure .WEBCAM deal we did this week was cool.
