External Card Withdrawals Suspended by Paxum

I got this message from paxum:

External Card Withdrawals Suspended
Dear Customer,

The External Card Withdrawal method is suspended for an indefinite period.

When, and if, this transfer method will be restored we will notify you.

Thank you for understanding.
Best Regards.

Anybody has any news about it ?

Bakunin 06-05-2014 02:01 AM

BigTony77 06-05-2014 02:03 AM

Same here. You can't withdraw from ATMs for an indefinite period. WTF

lucas131 06-05-2014 02:12 AM

AFAIK it doesnt mean that you cant withdraw money from your paxum masyercard... it concerns withdrawing to external card (from other bank)

Doesn't that money just shown as "pending charges"? Pending is not paid, so the operation can be reversed in any moment.

old news -> https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=19895585&postcount=2

btw, EFT is much better than external card withdrawals. Cheap and fast.

fee is less than €7 and the money is in my bank account after one day.

klinton 06-05-2014 03:10 AM

Klen 06-05-2014 03:26 AM

Old news, that been disabled for like year or two. That message usualy appear when you try to execute that feature. Also, card cannot be disabled,as that is not in their control, card is under control of bank.

Chris 06-05-2014 05:44 AM

This has NOTHING to do with the Paxum Card. This has to do with withdrawing to an external credit card as one of the withdraw methods we offered in the past that has been inactive for awhile.

Put away the pitch forks today folks ;)

I have been using paxum for over 2 years now. NEVER had any issue with them. I fucking love Paxum... It's been a great smooth 2 years ride for me with them, i have nothing but good things to say. But i seriously dont get it why everyone seems to be complaining all the time here about Paxum...

Just a quick question : To load via wire, do you send the wire to Choice Bank in Belize or you can wire to a normal bank account in a normal country ?

RuthB 06-06-2014 07:51 AM

Thanks everyone for your positive comments! It's always encouraging to hear from happy customers! :D

We have multiple banking relationships. We ask all clients to complete the Add Funds By Wire section of their Paxum account, prior to sending us a wire, in order to retrieve the most up-to-date wire information for the currency they wish to deposit.

You can find this section in Add Funds >> Add Funds By WIRE Transfer within your Paxum account. :thumbsup

Chris

I always LOL at these messages, so this time I give Chris a huge credit, because the OP message was CLEAR to understand BUT the suggestions that followed just changed the reality.
