Anyone from Tasmania?

Just curious, how hard is to travel to live there, how actually is hard to settle there?
i was trying to find some info on google but not very much luck.
i find this island as probably farthest possible country i could live, kinda crazy but just checking options..

It is tough to get citizenship in Tasmania, you ahve to be able to juggle 3 kangaroos and suck off your cousin at the same time.

Have luck :thumbsup

You need to survive the boat ride from Indonesia to Darwin first. If you're lucky you'll end up on Manus Island :2 cents:

druid66 06-02-2014 06:03 AM

keep it coming guys :D

AdultKing 06-02-2014 06:05 AM

What country are you a citizen of ? What skills do you have ? Both things play big part in whether you could come here or not.

i hope to attend soon on very intensive welding course, with 3 different welding techniques (mig, tig, mag), ending with egzams and with certyficate. that would make me unexperienced welder, but i'll learn this job fast.

from poland.

You wouldn't be able to come here from Poland without professional qualifications.

If you are unsure this website has all the answers.

Tasmania is an Australian state, the rules for immigration are governed by the Commonwealth, not the states. You'd be immigrating to Australia.

The chances of you getting a Visa to come and live here are pretty much non existent.

.

We don't hate Polish people.

Former ruler of my area:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanis%...szczy%C5%84ski
(not for the whole france)

I have no idea of the opinion of other people, but of course there is this "they took our jobs" reflex.
And yes, we think that you drink too much vodka, there is this kind of cliché here

Marry an Australian. But even that's not guaranteed.

If it's not your mum, dad, son or daughter forget it.

The fact is most Australian's don't want any immigration and it's getting tougher with our new Government and the formation of the Australian Border Force, several Visa classes are being discontinued and the entry pre-requisites are getting tougher.

Even coming for a holiday you have to prove you have the financial resources to fund your holiday, that you intend to go back (i.e.: return ticket) and plenty of cash on hand.

the farthest country which i were, was singapore, i was looking at the map from the airport and said to myself: omfg, i'm so close to australia, indeed then i realized at what distance i were from my country.
