Everyone knows that the "real" World Cup was held less than a year ago in San Francisco: http://www.greenbiz.com/sites/defaul...-sailing-w.jpg :stoned ADG |
Brazil. I'm really looking forward to this World Cup, I think it's going to be one of the best. It doesn't hurt that the camera always pans to the hot Brazilian girls when it's in any other country, the fact it's in Brazil, well I can only imagine how many hot girls are going to be gracing our screens.
|
Lets hope Europeans will take it. Preferably the more honest ones, not those with legionnaires/immigrants.
|
Spain.....
|
'merica ftw
|
Well I know who it WON'T be. Canada. :1orglaugh
Screw it I'm going with Spain again. |
I'm not looking forward to the usual horrible UK coverage we will have on our screens.
Which will no doubt include that unfunny cunt James Corden at any opportunity... |
Brazil
..... |
I want Germany to win - but i have my doubts
|
I'm rooting for England, but have low expectations.
|

argentina got the best players in offensive with messi / aguero / higuain / di maria.. but their defense sucks, hope they can win against brazil in their land!

I fancied the two favorites to meet in the final (Brazil/Argentina) but after watching Argentina last night against lowly Trinidad, they looked exposed at the back and against a good team this will be exploited. They are however certainly capable of scoring against any team.

Edit - posted twice.

I think spain, but im having an outside bet on belgium making the final!

6 days to go
" To date, six of the 19 editions of the FIFA World Cup? have been won by the host team.
After the first two (Uruguay 1930 and Italy 1934), the hosts had to wait 32 years before they could lift the Trophy again, with England the team to oblige in 1966. Following two wins by the hosts in 1974 (Germany FR) and 1978 (Argentina), there was another 20-year break before France became the sixth and, to date, last home favourites to prevail. The question is: will six become seven at Brazil 2014? " |
4 days to go
" In the history of the FIFA World Cup?, only two players have scored in four different editions - and both did so between 1958 and 1970.
The first member of this duo is perhaps obvious, with Pele the outstanding player of the era and arguably the star man at both the '58 and '70 editions. The second, though, is a legend very much in his own right, and Germany's Uwe Seeler not only beat Pele to become the first to reach this particular milestone, but is also the only player to have scored twice or more in four separate World Cups. " |
+1 for Germany :)
|
15 Hours to go ...
