Is Clicking AdSense Ads a Legitimate Form of Tipping?
 

Let's say that you like a website and appreciate the information they've provided and the effort they've put in, is clicking their AdSense and then looking at the page that pops up a legitimate way of throwing them a tip, or is this wrong?

depends on who you ask... google would probably say it's cheating

I don't care if someone else might consider it wrong. I do it all the time and am often even interested in the link I click.

That's what I've found too, the ads can be pretty well-targeted these days :2 cents:

Google wouldn't care, but the advertiser who will be paying your "tip" might so you should at least click something you have a moderate interest in.
