How Do I Install Windows 8.1 On Mavericks?
 

How the fuck do I install windows 8.1 on my Macbook pro retina running Mavericks????????? I have an external dvd player and a thumb drive. I died everything I was supposed to putting the drivers on the thumb drive and put my windows cd inside of my dvd drive and it can't read the fucking files on the thumb drive to start the install. I get this fucking error message every time I try to install the software "

"Boot Camp Assistant did not detect the presence of Windows support software. The support software is required to install Windows. Insert a USB drive containing the support software, or click Go Back to download the software."

For the love of GOD why would you want to anyway?

I want to use a sim which is only compatible on Windows. Now I'm fucked I can't install Windows, I can't return the Windows CD or the Sim software because it's software. So I'm out hundreds of dollars if i can't get this fucking thing to work

Check the format of your thumb drive. Is it in the correct format for the install? Might have to be FAT or Mac OS X Journaled. Google it, hope that helps.
