bitcoin to overtake paypal in 2014

Quote:

The Laureate Trust sees the current Bitcoin price, now circa US$530-560, as a tremendous opportunity to buy into Bitcoin, they advise that the currency could increase by up to 50 percent in price in the near-term as it prepares, for the first time, to overtake PayPal in actual transaction volume.

Overtake Paypal this or next year? Absolutely not. In time, many of us can see that happening.

We've seen your photography. Its quite clear that you can't see anything.

It says "Bitcoin to pass PayPal in USD transaction volume" ...does that mean the total number of transactions or the value volume? I could see number of transactions possibly because each little chunk off the block chain probably qualifies as a transaction in Bitcoin terms. Kind of a fucked up comparison because they aren't really related in anyway. Kind of like saying that Paintball has overtaken Hunting which it has.

apples to oranges comparison. one is an NSA program & the other is CIA.

$ volume, as I'm understanding it, is what they're saying.

MaxxNoTax 05-27-2014 06:38 AM

has bitcoin any chance at all?

mayabong 05-27-2014 07:36 AM

Paypal has already said at their shareholder meeting that they are looking at ways of integrating Bitcoin.
