Cruise night - Niagara Falls freak patrol
 

So the wife, daughter and I decided to take the new car for a cruise over to Niagara Falls earlier this evening - just to freak watch and play dodge'em car with the distracted tourists.

With the nice weather and mild temps - the place was a veritable ZOO!

Thousands of people...great selection of freaks to gawk at. It was like 'People of WalMart' had converged on Niagara Falls.

We had the windows down, dbl. moonroof open and the Infinity soundsystem hummin'. Saw some nice classic muscle cars rollin' along the pavement, a few sidewalk buskers...a bit of everything.

Despite the ridiculously high gas prices, we splurged and cruised along the scenic Niagara River parkway to Niagara-On-The-Lake and found it just as packed...but with the BMW/Audi/Jag upscale crowds.

An all-round nice evening. So great to get outdoors after the long, wicked winter. :)

Awww my youth. Many a summer night as a child spent on Clifton Hill, back when Niagara Falls was at its height of tacky charm.

Trying to remember the bar/tavern where the older kids boozed it up - Ratskeller or something like that.

It's still tacky as hell - just more corporate these days.

The old days had more private citizens owning the attractions. Now its all big business with even bigger prices to gouge the tourists.
