argh video card drivers in XP
I tried to uninstall them to install new version, and now the MS drivers took them over and it won't let me install, saying theres no new version... how can i fix this?

You should be able to delete your vid card from the device manager list. Then when you reboot, select "have disk" when it detects your hardware. For some reason, if you try to simply update the driver the way you have it set up now, it won't let you override the MS driver.
Maybe that will work for you.... |
I fixed it already, I just poped in my old driver CD and ran the exe, and it forced to install the good drivers, and I updated those..
stupid microsoft.. its a shame i ..... paid for it.. ..... :winkwink: :1orglaugh |
