You want to buy it from the gd auctions if i understand better? i have bought in the past some domains from their auctions section, if that s your point of interest. A bit drunk right now but i will try to be coherent.

Why do they do it? Fucking scamming pieces of shit.

Godaddy will slowly die, people are already transferring their domains at other registrars where they will not need to search for coupons to get a honest price(no renewal upcharges), also the price they charge for whois price is absurd, in the meantime others are offer this facility for free. Their entire interface is a spammy upselling piece of shit, using their only useful service: gd auctions, buy a domain and run as fast as i can with it at other registrar.

Their WHOIS is free...so, I don't know what you mean by that...but they don't charge for WHOIS, LOL!

Been a customer and then a reseller since Bob was doing business from a 2-car garage. Things (ownership) have certainly changed but I don't think FAIL is in their future.

With GD you need the baller plan: discount domain club.

Do you really think they give a rat's ass about your nickel-dime business? If GoDaddy hasn't assigned you an Acct Mgr your business means little if anything to them.

I keep 3000+ domains at GD and I'm small fry in the "big picture". Domain registration globally is around 6 or 7 per second. So your 3-4-5 domains mean ZERO-ZIP-NADA to any Registrar, doesn't matter who the Registrar is.

There is no (minimal) profit in domain name sales. The profits for a Registrar are in the "upsells". ie: privacy, hosting, email, etc, etc, etc.
